Important Update: CME Market Data Access Restrictions

On Friday, the CME implemented new restrictions on market data access for certain countries. We were only informed of these changes today and had no prior notice.

Because these restrictions originate at the exchange level, they are beyond Lucid Trading’s control, traders at other firms will experience the same impact. We know this is frustrating, especially without warning, and we’re sorry for the disruption. These restrictions are now in effect.

We want to share an important update regarding market data access.

**On Friday, a decision was made by the CME to restrict market data access in certain countries. **Unfortunately, this was an abrupt decision by the CME and we were only notified of these changes today through our platform partner, NinjaTrader. As soon as we became aware, we worked to understand the scope and take appropriate action.

These restrictions were implemented at the exchange/data provider level and are outside of Tradeify’s direct control, users in these countries will also be impacted at other firms. While we understand the regulatory and compliance requirements involved, we also recognise the disruption this may cause for some of our traders.

Market data access in the affected regions has now already been restricted.
